Queen6: No new version number on the DMG still 2.1.0.3, surely a fix is a "point" update in order to differentiate?

JudasIscariot: I was the one who personally uploaded and cleared our CDN's version of that file so I know for a fact it's a fixed version :)

We usually do change installer numbers for normal updates but this one was an exception. In any case, the DMG you see up there now is a fixed and working DMG :)
Thx, good job on the fix, maybe a lesson learned if you get my meaning.

So, I updated with the 1Gb fix standalone and the game worked OK, then I opened Galaxy to find it was performing a 1Gb update as well!
Hmmm...
Hi there,
I was having this problem ("FATAL ERROR") on Mac when starting a new game.

I tried updating SOMA using GOG Galaxy by selecting "More -> Verify / Repair" and it downloaded the patch. However, it couldn't be installed because it said SOMA was already running.
The messages were: "Getting file list" -> "Checking local files" -> "Allocating disk" -> "SOMA installation postponed (game is running)". See screenshot attached.

I checked in Activity Monitor and no process that would look like SOMA there.
And I trashed all files in ~/Library/Application Support/Frictional Games/SOMA and restarted but to no avail.

I restarted my computer twice (I don't keep my applications running when I restart) but still the same.
I updated to Galaxy 1.1.3 as well (I think I had 1.1.2 beforehand).

Eventually I downloaded the patch directly from GOG's site (patch_soma-day1_fix.pkg) and installed it and then launched the game directly from my /Applications folder and it worked! Thanks :)
