You do no need Xlinput, in files game, you have a file config named "SH4Config", you can remap the touches with this
It doesn't recognizes triggers and right analog stick if you use that. To play with Xbox controller you have to trick the game that it' DirectInput device, and that's what XInput Plus does.

I use a controller PS4 (recognize like a Xlinput device), it's probably for that

XInput Plus seems to be downloadable again on the site, or at least I was able to do it as of the day of this post.

One thing I would like to mention is if you're using a Xbox controller (or something that has similar functionality, in my case, I'm using an SN30 Pro Plus with an 8bitdo receiver to use the controller wirelessly), do not assign map or scrapbook to any buttons, since those can be accessed by pausing the game, in case anyone didn't know.

Sorry if I'm resurrecting this thread 11 days later, but I can't find a working link for Xinput Plus. The developer site has no link avabile and I am yet to find a mirror of it. Does someone has a mirror or could gently reupload it? Thanks in advance!

PhoenixBlade: I must be a dumbdumb, because I can't figure out how to download the XInput program. I follow the link and it leads me to a page in Japanese and plenty of error messages where I believe the download links should be. :(
