Cool to see patches for this game.

Though I just downloaded it the other day (5.5 gig or so), then this patch comes out and galaxy is downloading the 5.5 gig again. Don't know if this on the dev's end or GOG's but it is slightly annoying.
Post edited June 11, 2015 by dannaz423
It's definitely on GOG's end since if you download the game normally its size is 1.6GB and the patch 10MB.
I think I read someone reporting a similar situation with Serpents in the Staglands and Galaxy. The installer is less than 300MB large and the update was in the range of few GBs. Really puzzling.

Also thanks for the changelog PaterAlf.
Can the old patch "patch_shadowrun_dragonfall_directors_cut_2.1.0.7" be ignored? So users will just need the installer and the latest patch 2.0.9?

Yeah, the current installer is setup_shadowrun_dragonfall_directors_cut_2.1.0.7 which means it contains the 2.0.8 patch. You only need that and the 2.0.9 patch (2.1.1.8 GOG version).

Will they ever get rid of this fucking terrible idea of making their own versions? In every, and I mean every, game forum there are always posts by complaining and confused users.

I agree. It's completely confusing that the installers/patches only use an obscure GOG version number. If they must use a GOG number, they should at least include the game's actual version number as well.

What exactly have they changed? I kind of liked the matrix segments in HK, hoping it hasn't been changed too much from the ground up.
