JudasIscariot: Patch 1.04 is here :)
Thank you!
After downloading the new patch and trying to install it I got this message.

This patch does not support your version of the game
please download a new installer.

I did not download and install the first patch because it was just a galaxy fix or so I thought, not any gameplay
or bug fixes. I did put aside the galaxy dll [was removed to get the game to load] so I could put it back in the folder prior to patching the game. This did not work obviously.

Why would GOG remove the first patch if it is required to use before applying the 2.2.0.5 ?

Is it just me or does this seem a bit funny to do the patches this way?

I have a question regarding the linux version:
Is the installer package capable of updating a previous installation? I didn't try this and just removed 1.02 and ran the new installer afterwards. Do I have to remove the old version beforehand?
I contacted GOG support and was given a link to download the previous patch.
I was also advised that this was normally not done, so thanks for that GOG.

Some programs will remove any previous version, don't know of any that will just update unless your using a patch.

In your case of reinstalling the game with the latest version [2.2.0.5exe] I believe you did the right thing
by uninstalling the previous version before installing the new exe. Better safe than sorry.

edit
After applying both patches the game startup crashed with the same runtime error as I experienced with the day 1 version. The same fix also worked for me, removed the galaxy dll.

There has been another small update, 1.04.1, when can we expect this?

I'd like to know this as well, beginning to regret getting this game on GOG instead of Steam...
I would also like the 1.04.1 patch which is a much needed hot fix....
