tremere110: I will post a display.ini preset to low settings. Copy and paste it over everything in your display, ini and adjust to taste. Backup your display.ini first though.

I checked your list, but it still does not contain the other Option information like the Controller settings and how to turn off "Film Grain." I'm not sure where to find the other information.
Can you save your game at all?
Are you playing it through GoG Galaxy?

I don't use Galaxy. But SR4 is only saving the story/campaign information and the display information. For some reason it refuses to save the Audio, Control, and Gameplay options.

You're right. It doesn't save on mine either. The game doesn't seem to create a profile configuration file in the '_saves' folder. GoG might have to fix this. I'll see which file it is using the Steam version.

[EDIT] Unfortunately those files aren't text files so you can't just edit them

For some reason on Steam the profile config isn't in the '_saves' folder.
It's located in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\"random numbers"\"random numbers"\remote'

It's called 'sr3DEF_PROFILE'

Obviously GoG doesn't use steam folders so apparently SR4 isn't creating or modifying it. Until it can create and modify a config file - the game won't save any non-display options. Hopefully GoG will fix this soon.

[EDIT] Submitted a support ticket to GoG with this info.
Yes, I know 'sr3DEF_PROFILE' sounds like it should be for SR3 but this is the file that was accessed by SR4 when I changed the config in game. Go figure.

Options aren't saving in Gat Out of Hell either.

Yeah, I just noticed this as well. I've let support know about this as well.
Would this affect the toggle-based commands? Using toggled Super Sprint, I did a charged Super Jump off a tutorial platform. The result: Gat immediately began to enter a perpetually repeating dive, straight into the lava. Other issues affected flight, until I returned to default non-toggle commands.

I also couldn't place commands over specific keys, like "G". That is where I usually place my melee for keybinds.
AUTOSAVE not working too in SR4... i must manually save the game after every mission -_-
Autosaves are working fine on my end for SR4 so that's not a systematic problem. Do you see the little "saving" animation on the screen after a mission?

If you go to the "\Saints Row 4\_saves\" directory, do you see any file named "sr4save_autosave.sr4s_pc"?
Nope i did not see the saving animation after mission. I have only one file in the "_saves" folder... my one manual save "sr4save_0.sr4s_pc". And i playing without Galaxy... Steam version works without issue... weird :-/

Filmgrain is in the gameplay options; but like the rest also does not stay off after the next restart.
Yeah no auto/audio/gameplay -save for me either, non galaxy user.

The strange thing with the autosave is even if you create a
file does not recognize it.
When creating an empty file the game crashed on startup
and when i just rename an older save the game ignores it.

It's seems pretty much bugged and probably they won't patch it :/

I don't think autosave is working in GOOH either. I'll check when I get home.
