After the breaking out of the airship at the start of the game, the bar on the loading screen gets 90% of the way across before the whole games crashes to desktop. Not even an error message. I tried the solutions here:

None of the solutions worked and the game still crashes at the exact same spot, making it unplayable.

What the fuck is causing this problem and how do I fix it?! I want to play the game and I can't because the crash is making it impossible! I'd would have typed those 2 sentences in block caps to get the message across but the post text editor freezes if I try to post something with all caps in it.

I tried upgrading NGlide, fiddling with the GXSetup, Nglide config and running all of those and Rayman 2 as admin. compatibility mode for XP service pack 2 &3, and 16 bit reduced colors. All of those methods were useless.

There isn't even a log file in the game folder I can upload to see if anyone can diagnose it.

What the hell do I do?


EDIT: Solved. When I recently got Croc 1 and 2, I had to switch on custom DEP settings to allow the audio/visual options to work. For some resson, custom DEP makes Rayman 2 have my crashing problem and switching it back to the default (priority windows apps etc.) fixes it.
