Aw, man, I'm not sure I'll be able to donate before this finishes. I'll have to see what I can do, though -- Quest for Glory was an awesome series, I'd love to see more games from the Coles.

You'd be surprised how much good small pledges can do. Most people think that a $5 pledge - or even a $1 pledge - won't help, so they don't pledge at all. But if you get all those people to pledge that $5 or $1, the combination of all those small pledges might be the force that pushes a project over goal.

So anyone who's been holding back because they don't think their small pledge will be meaningful, every pledge is meaningful! If it's pledging vs. eating today or buying gas to get to work, etc., then by all means don't pledge. Your needs are far more important than any game. But if you have a couple of dollars that you won't miss, then pledging them to the Coles's KickStarter will help.

I could not wait to back this project. "From the Quest for Glory designers" was all I needed to see to know, I had to be a part of this! It is gonna be something special! The adventure renaissance continues!

Indeed, plenty of demand -- have been gaining around 250 new backers per day for the last few days, likely to reach over 5k backers by the end of today. People all over the world are excited to hear the Coles are making a come-back. They in turn are spreading the news to other QfG fans, who can't just read standard news to find out about Hero U.

I didn't think they'd make it, but I should have counted on the last-minute surge that many Kickstarter projects get.
