Hi. I see that you have to change the resolution in the command line. What exactly do I need to type if I want width of 1920 and BPP of 32?

I tried this, and got an error:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Quake\Glquake.exe" -width 1920 -bpp 32

I appreciate any help on this newb question!

I tried with with -height 1080 included, but am still getting this error:

wglCreateContect failed
If there is an opengl32.dll in the game or baseq2 folder, try to rename it.

Hi Guter. Yes a file with that name IS in the Quake folder.
Why is it necessary to rename it?

Anything specific I should rename it to?
No, anything, so the game doesn't find it. The game will then use the opengl driver of your card.

Shoot, tried it, but the game didn't start. I mean it launched, then just vanished. Tried it a couple times.

Any other thoughts? I appreciate you trying to help me.
If you google for the error message "wglCreateContect failed", you will get a lot of hits.
They all point at having the wrong opengl driver in use. What's your gfx card and driver version?
