Buying Primordia on GOG allows me to download its soundtrack as MP3 files directly from GOG servers.
I noticed that there is also a lossless release available on bandcamp.com.

Is it possible to receive the FLACs for free or a reduced price if one bought the game on GOG?

I don't think so, but let's wait for someone more in the know to tell you.

I honestly don't think so, though.
While Nathaniel Chambers (the composer) and Wadjet Eye Games (the publisher) are in charge of this, I have to assume the answer is no. Part of Nathaniel's arrangement with WEG was that he would be able to sell the soundtrack and keep the proceeds. As it turned out, however, the soundtrack's release was substantially delayed relative to the GOG release, such that most of the people who would've bought the soundtrack simply got it bundled with their GOG purchase. Even after the soundtrack was released, I remember seeing posts on Twitter and Reddit and the like where people would ask about buying the soundtrack and be told by others to simply buy the game on GOG instead. As a consequence, the main (and maybe only?) reason to buy the soundtrack in freestanding form is the lossless quality. If GOG purchasers got it for free (or for a discount), I imagine Nathaniel's sales would suffer even more.

In short, while I have no stake or authority in this, it seems that for Nathaniel's sake, it probably would be best to keep the two separate, despite my overall desire to see that fans get whatever we can give them.
Don't think you'll get it on GOG as all soundtracks I've seen here so far are lossy MP3s.
There might be some exceptions, but if so they're rare.
Furthermore once the soundtrack is released as bonus, it's not likely they'll provide a second FLAC version, as a lot of people just don't have a clue how to handle FLAC.

Nevertheless, if there's demand, GOG might change it's policy (at least if they're able to get a FLAC version at all). So I'd suggest you vote for it at the corresponding thread at the community wishlist. Here's the link:

2 herojoker:
You could buy it on bandcamp in any format you want (FLAC is also possible).
I can't give you a link, because I "cannot post any links at this moment" (don't know why),
but if you type "primordia bandcamp" in google you will easily find it.

@WormwoodStudios: Thank you very much for that information!
@DeMignon: Indeed I have just voted on that request, thank's for pointing me to it.
@punknotyet: I know it's available on bandcamp (as you can see in my start posting); personally (I'm not judging Nathaniel's pricing policy in general) I'm not willing to pay more for the soundtrack than I payed for the whole game. especially not if it's just an upgrade from MP3 to FLAC; if it was 2.99$ or so I'd say okay (that's what I meant in the start posting).

You can only post links on GOG forums with a rep of 8 upwards. You currently have a rep of 2, so, 6 more to go! :)
