azrael4h: Doesn't work. Gave it permission, it crashed. Tried to load again, it crashed again, without triggering the firewall. After several attempts to get the stupid thing to get past the Paizo splash screen, I gave up.
It is not my job to do QA for a developer. I do enough of that at work. I should not have to jump through hoops to make something I paid hard earned money for work. Not when single-person devs like ConcernedApe do a vastly superior job ensuring their product actually works and can be played. It's 2021; and it wasn't remotely acceptable to release a literally unplayable game in 1977 on a Commodore PET, Apple II, or TRS80, and sure as heck isn't now. I just filed the claim for the refund, and know better than to support Owlcat in the future.
Yes, because most of the people playing this game around the world can't actually play it. There are always outlier cases, which yours is obviously. Don't be a jerk and call something unacceptable because you're the one affected. Realize it could be something unique to your personal set-up and work with the devs if they are willing to help, which they obviously are in this case.It is not my job to do QA for a developer.
