InEffect: sorry, I meant to say free "beard and hairstyles" dlc /sarcasm

really, though, don't take everything so serious.

Hickory: I paid a lot of money (£80 / ~c 6888 Ruble) for this game. I take it very seriously that I can't play it. I bought Andromeda for much less and it was/is AWFUL, but at least I could play it.
Did you get the extra pre-order addons? If so than you recieved everything you paid for.

I purchased the base edition, the cosmetic addons (yes some with stat boosting effects) was not worth the money for me. Now was you mentioned you take your money very seriously I hope those addon items which you purchased gave you increased enjoyment. It seems it however did not and you are upset at the base game which every user paid equally for.

The sort of DLC I hope they release is not cash shop style addons with a few items. I would love to see my character's hair under the helm. Perhaps a few events after the main story ends and finally a few more races and classes.

What are you blathering on about? I paid for... no, PRE-PAID for, a product. A finished product. The product was not finished. The product is still not finished. I cannot play the game. End of story.

InEffect: at least first 50-ish hours are pretty much bug-free. then it gets worse but is still playable. and just at the end you start encountering real bad stuff. so technically you can play it. I do understand why you would opt not to till it's fixed to a better degree.

Hickory: No, I can't. Every time I play the game I can't recruit Octavia and Regongo because the scripts on the map are broken. That's just ONE reason I can't play. Get it into your head: THE.GAME.IS.BROKEN.

Different people seem to be getting different issues, which is puzzling, but it's fact.

Stop defending a broke product, it does you no credit.
did you try a fresh install btw? maybe it's just your files got corrupted somehow? just trying to help as 1st patch did break my game entirely so I had to clear everything download a fresh distributive and reinstall.

I run via Galaxy and when the missing DLC was found I verified/repaired my installation. I've verified twice. Once when it was added and again when it was taken away and then added again. It's not that.

Edit: I should probably say, it's not that... unless Galaxy is royally screwing up the installation. Food for thought.

verification might now always work in my experience. so downloading full game from gog and manually installing might do the trick. just click scan for games afterwards and it should be fine. at least that's what helped me.

I want to avoid that. I have slow internet.

What happens for me is that the woman (can't remember her name) who's supposed to be knocked unconscious and then get back up and plead for her life either stays on the floor as though dead, or gets up, stands still and silent and is completely un-interactable (the auto script doesn't fire, either). That means that Octavia and Reg are also un-interactable and unrecruitable.

I also had a save from chapter 2 where Octavia was in my party. I went back to the tek map and it was reset. The mercs were there, the battle was joined afresh, and a duplicate of Octavia and Reg were there. (>.<).

got there. area is not bugged, at least for me. patch 1.0.10b. so it's either your personal nemesis or your game is corrupted. I would bet on the 2nd option. from what I figured you should not let galaxy to auto-update your game. pick manual and close the game before installing patches or it has good chance of corrupting your game one way or another

oh and here is a screenshot https://i.imgur.com/UDOxiZI.jpg

I'm not convinced it's Galaxy. Too many people are reporting entirely different bugs and issues from one another. For example, I'm not experiencing half of what other people are complaining about. It's a puzzle, but I'm not downloading the whole game on my slow internet until they have a stable game on the table.

Edit: I will add that I haven't got that far into the game with the latest two or three patches, so for all I know my issue may have been resolved. I just don't have the energy to put up with its shennanigan at the moment.

Well, I had spare time last night and I decided to fire up Kingmaker. That particular issue has been resolved for me now, thank goodness.
