Hi all,

it seems several aspects of the game had to be left out as the deadline forced the Owlcats' hand: deity selection for all classes, race- and deity-based conversation changes and so on.

What are the chances we'll get these as a DLC / big fix?
That honestly sounds like a question you should ask on the Owlcat forums, if you're looking for an official kind of answer.

If you're looking for opinions, on the other hand, I'd much rather any DLC add new things to do, places to see, characters to add to the party. Being able to pick a deity or lack thereof wqould be nice for non divine casters, but its only a bit of fluff that wouldn't have much bearing on the game as it is built.
I would gladly pay for character options dlc. more classes, more races. at least 1 divine prc would be nice for starters.

honestly, I would prefer dlc in a form of expansions. give use a side story arc and a few new classes/prc to go with it and I would gladly pay for it.

I would definitely welcome DLC. Owlcat, you need to use your keen owl eyes and see this post.

they will need to fix the base game for now. artists, game-designers, and writers are likely quietly working on it. announcing dlc while the game is so unpolished won't resonate well even though writers and artists don't do patches. so would be surprised if they answer.

the game sold pretty well afaik. dlc/expansions is a question of when not if.

With the debacle that this release has been, Owlcat need to do a CD Projekt Red and release some free DLC as compensation to users putting up with a sub-par product. Show they care for their customers, just as CDP did at release of TW3. They can mitigate any bad feelings and recoup lost reputation that way.

TAKE NOTE OWLCAT!!

sub-par compared to what? there were no rpgs with complex systems in place since nwn2 pretty much.

Sub-par to what it should be. This game is broken. Totally broken.

I have high hopes for this game and I am willing to give the devs their due, that they're apparently devastated at the amount of bugs that are being reported and are throwing out hotfixes at a tremendous pace, but let's be honest here, this game should never have been release in this state. And before you say it, no, other RPGs that had bugs at release had nowhere near the amount of game breaking bugs that this game does. It's a mess, plain and simple. Don't defend the indefensible.

well above-mentioned nwn2 could not be completed on day1 at all it took em a week for the 1st patch. half the systems are still not working properly there to this day without fan-made patches at the very least. and that was not an indie game at all. so yeah. and lets not even start with how badly broken bethesda games come out. oh and ME:andromeda anyone? and those are AAA titles where budget literally dwarfs what owlcats had to work with.

two wrongs don't make a right but if AAA games are allowed to do it, then indies are too.

also being sub-par compared to imaginary utopia is hardly a crime.

this topic is about dlc though. what would you like to see apart from free hairstyles dlc?

I paid a lot of money (£80 / ~c 6888 Ruble) for this game. I take it very seriously that I can't play it. I bought Andromeda for much less and it was/is AWFUL, but at least I could play it.
I would love to see new classes and races along with some new story (like White March in PoE?) in DLC, but not before they make game free from at least most of maor bugs.

at least first 50-ish hours are pretty much bug-free. then it gets worse but is still playable. and just at the end you start encountering real bad stuff. so technically you can play it. I do understand why you would opt not to till it's fixed to a better degree.

No, I can't. Every time I play the game I can't recruit Octavia and Regongo because the scripts on the map are broken. That's just ONE reason I can't play. Get it into your head: THE.GAME.IS.BROKEN.

Different people seem to be getting different issues, which is puzzling, but it's fact.

Stop defending a broke product, it does you no credit.
