While I don't have this specific game, I'll try to help you.

When you go into your library and click on the game, and assuming you've clicked on "DOWNLOAD OFFLINE BACKUP GAME INSTALLERS" in the game card that opens, you should see the latest standalone installer (v.0.3.1.1), and if GOG hasn't removed them yet, two patch files:
- one that is the Alpha 3 Hotfix 3 that updates the game from v.0.3.0.0 ⇒ v.0.3.0.3, and
- a second one, Alpha 3 Patch 1, that updates the game from v.0.3.3.0 ⇒ v.0.3.1.0.
I'm not sure how exactly these files are named, but the versions should be listed in parenthesis.

Note that you can only apply the patches (in that order) if you have v.0.3.0.0 installed.

If that is not the case or the patch files aren't present, or you can afford the bandwidth, download the latest installer. That way you get the most updated version of the game; I suggest the same if you want to back up the game.

On a side note, if you haven't received an update flag (that blue dot), a number of people have reported that update notifications aren't working (properly or at all) for the past several days.

While I don't have this specific game, I'll try to help you.

It worked, I don't know where my head is sometimes I didn't looked at the version ( just an old fart) followed youre instruction. had v.: 0.3.0.0 installed know 0.3.1.0. all saved games where still there, I make backups 3 times a Week
