SwedishHerring: Is there any way to implement respawning enemies, for example when you learn fast travel, they respawn when you move to another map?
Being able to grind a bit would help this game alot, because as the previous post said, your enemy design is some of the worst I've ever played against.
Having 2 enemies take turns taunting me and not making me strong enought to kill one of them in one turn cycle without mad lucky crits? - No thanks, boring.
Having infinitly spawning enemies that you need to kill with an AOE or be stuck on for 5 minutes extra for no reason? -No thanks (do you even get more EXP for killing all the extra spawners this way, doesn't seem like it?)
It's a shame the enemies are so badly designed and tedious, because I really want to like this game, but you always feel you are 1 or 2 leves behind, all the time.
Another thing is that the attack numbers never seem to go up. You level up, but you do the same miserable damage with your regular attacks anyway. There seems to be no difference if you are level 1 or level 7 with the latest weapon.
Here's my tips for making combat better:
-Stop overusing timeconsuming strategies like multible taunters or infinite summons/respawners (bosses are fine I guess, they should be hard.)
-Implement a way to grind levels if you want to, you always feel underleveled.
Just got the game myself and I have to echo the sentiment, it's too much of a chore to fight, I too am a ranger, and though the dodge ability is great, the overall gimped damage is quite discouraging! I don't plan on returning this game though, as it still is a great game!
I'm still only an hour or so into the main campaign I hope that the game gets better!
