Slow. Not everyone has access to fast connections, especially in the US (I assume dashiichi's location is actual), if you're living in somewhat rural locations you may not get very good speeds at all.
ChewyWeAreNotHome: My update from 1.65 to 1.7 was 277 MB. Didn't mean to actually install this update and was just trying to check the size. Took a longer time than usual to apply the update. I was reading the patch notes, and watching the No Man's Sky reddit posts. Looks like quite a lot of the expected underwater stuff added/improved in this one, so that may be why it took a bit longer to update (just affects underwater). But no resetting of the galaxy, which is nice. Some overall fixes/improvements/additions as well. I'm going to update tonight. Hopefully it goes smoothly.
*edit* Looks like Freighter Hyperdrive upgrades are back. You still won't get the range of a fully upgraded Explorer, but you'll get 1800+ LYs from an A class with 28% bonus. S class would be even better. 'Mobile' bases just became much more mobile.
