Has there even been a definite confirmation that what GOG and Steam people are playing is really 1.09? Can you check the version number in the "1.XY" format in-game?

ppattumi: According to patch notes, they actually patched out *products* stacking...

So we have two options here: either some players are confused about the difference between products and resources stacking, or HG is confused about the patch they released...

misscrabtree456: I recently dismantled a crashed ship, and yes stacking gravatino balls is still there. Along with all the other items that stacked, just like before. You need to actually try these things out before making blanket statements.
Sorry, I wrote this post after reading patch notes and comparing them to what GOG users were reporting on these forums.

chaosWyrM: well the stack of 60+ vortex cubes im currently carrying didnt start until after the 1.09 update.

misscrabtree456: Just read the notes for 1.09, it says it removes the "stack exploit," but I haven't seen this, it works like it always has. Also heard that this is a Gog thing, and that stacking is removed from the Steam version.
This shouldn't have been the first thing to patch up. I didn't see people complaining, that they got just way too much inventory and it is in a need of immediate limitation.

not only are people not complaining...but there are mods to do just that. considering the downloads and endorsements...id say its the opposite of complaining.

still though...i think its a bit telling that people want the main aspect of the game modded out.
All inventory games have inventory mods. It's not telling at all, except when people try to force the designers to nerf it for everybody.
