Sorry darthvictorbr but that other classes get spell progression is not relevant to dragon disciple even if they would be official which they aren't anyway. Homebrew = fan made class.

Dragon Disciple doesn't grant spellcasting progression because he shouldn't have. Thats why Kaedrin or PRC doesn't grant this feature either.

Nothing stops you to modify RDD to grant it though - someone could call it cheating but it is your game so what.

Not sure how in NWN2 but in NWN all you need is to modify classes.2da and set ArcSpellMod column to 1 for line with Red Dragon Disciple.

I think that depends. If i an using this modded classes in my computer or in a server. If i an using this a server, then they should allow me use this mod. But thanks, i've learned that some years ago, i've used DD in 3.5 campaign with pathfinder rules...

Well, if your DM allowed you thats ok. Pathfinder is based on dnd 3.5(parts published under ogl license) so it should be roughly balanced

Even if you create an OP character, the DM can balance the encounters and put tougher monsters to balance the encounters, so D&D Lawyers/D&D engineers(people who focus more in using rules to create OP stuff than role play) aren't a problem . In computer cRPG this is very hard/almost impossible to be "implemented"...

It can still be a problem in you run a party game. One powerbuilder can become problem for DM if other players do not optimise their characters. If you tweak encounter for powerbuilder it might become impossible for other players xD SO having relatively balanced classes is still important

Provided, of course, that the player doesn't manage to create something like Pun-Pun. A character like that breaks the game so badly that the only way for the DM to keep the game sane would be to disallow it.

(For those who aren't aware, Pun-Pun is a D&D 3.5 build that manages, with the help of a polymorph ability and a way to get a supernatural ability from the assumed form, an ability that was never intended to be available to the player. Most notably, this ability allows the user to grant scaled ones arbitrary abilities. The closest equivalent in a CRPG would be something like arbitrary code execution.)

You are right but the master can try correct this "artificially' giving overpowered items to under-powered party members...

Pun-pun is completely "broken", not simple "overpowered". Pun-pun can easily kill even gods.

Still without "dragon form", but is the closest think that i can reach in a cRPG than my one and half year adventure 10 years ago...

Pre-e-e-e-etty sure this guy doesn't have CL progression in PRC. As far as I remember, only Archmage progress CL...
