Mount and blade warband btw

So I can play the game for the most part fine. But when I go to save game settings like battle size and lance control, it doesn't save and the next time I start warband up, it's reset so that my changes aren't there.

The other issue is at the top of the settings menu it says "STR NOT FOUND: _ui_music_volume" and I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be like that.

What should I do?

For saving - make sure you run the game as admin and also don't install the game in Program files folder.

For the other issue, see here - http://www.gog.com/forum/mount_blade_series/minor_options_menu_interface_issue
To the music thing, what was posted in that topic, adding a blank line, worked.

To the first problem, it did not. Coincidentally I discovered a workaround when the game crashed as I was maximizing the window at an inopportune time.

The workaround, for anyone that encounters this problem and if it's not fixed, is this: When you change the settings, don't close the normal way, by clicking save and exit and/or then clicking Exit the game. If you alt f4 or click the x button to close (x is if you're playing windowed) it will save the settings.

An alternative to this that I a search turned up was from the steam forums and it is to edit this file manually.

C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\Mount&Blade Warband\rgl_config.txt

It would appear that something is reverting the settings when you close Warband the normal way through the ingame buttons. I don't know if I should pursue a bug report or something. I mean it's an easy workaround but I don't like the idea of having to do that stuff when it should just save on it's own.
