Not much more to say on the subject. I stopped playing this game a few months ago and never had a crash, and recently started playing again. Now every couple hours I crash to desktop when leaving a shop. I just have the standard GOG installation for the game. I saw a lot of people having a problem entering Escaton's Palace, so I copied one of the .mp3s and made a 1.mp3 and 16.mp3 to see if that might help, but this hasn't fixed the problem.

I am on Windows 10. This is very annoying, and especially confusing because it didn't happen last time I played. What can I do? Thanks.

Have you tried a simple reinstall (make sure you back up your saves first!).
