Hello, all.

I am experiencing a glitch in which trading gems between two characters results in the recipient's gem total being reduced by several hundred gems (a third of the original total, maybe). For example, Knobbo the robber trades 24 gems to Illthid the sorcerer. Illthid originally has 1020 gems. After the trade, Illthid has around 708 gems.

My characters are all level 12-13 and have collected lots of gems. Also, this did not seem to be happening when they were lower than 9th or 10th level.

Annoyed. Has this happened to anyone else? And if so: Is there a fix?

Thanks, guys.

Are those examples actual numbers, or are those numbers you made up? If you made up those numbers, could you please load up your game, reproduce the glitch, and report the actual figures?

(I am trying to figure out whether you are triggering an integer overflow of some sort; for that I need exact values.)

Edit: Also, in addition to posting the actual gem total, please post the number of gems that you are trying to trade (in other words, the number you actually typed in).

These are numbers I have made up, but are similar to an actual recent instance of the bug. I will get a recorded example next time I play. Thanks for the response.
