I just bought KKND Xtreme and everythings running smoothly except I can't save a game at all.

I select one of the numbers like the manual told me so, clicked save, entered a short name and pressed enter. This brings up an error message, "Couldn't Open Save Game File (Non Specific)".

I don't get it. Especially that it's saying 'open' when I'm in the save section.

Which link should I go into? It's not an installation error I think. I get into the game and everything works perfectly, it just can't save games. That's why I started a thread for help.

and under Problem type pick saving/loading issues and you should be good to go :D.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate it. Sorry for asking you to hold my hand through it but this type of thing is difficult to wrap my head around. Also, I'm usually very busy that's why it took a long time to respond.
Did support help you with this problem? Can you share a solution?

My guess is, that you don't have proper rights for writing savegame files into the game folder.

You can either run the game as administrator (or any user with administrator rights), or
you can modify access rights of the game folder and subfolders to full access for your user (or user group).

How to do so, depends on your version of windows.
Good point to start with: Right-click the KKND installation folder, click Properties, and then click the Security tab.
