OH GOD I HOPE THIS ISN'T A JOKE
Please yes. Inquisitor has a lot of rough edges, a sequel that smooths them down would be fabulous. Also turn-based combat would be great. :D
Well, I'd like something similar to the 1st game but with more than a handful of useful spells/skills this time. I used the same attack spell for like 75% of the game...

Yeah, I personally prefer turn-based, but I'd be fine for realtime. I do agree that they need to add more tacticalness though.
I'd really love to see Inquisitor 2. Regarding gameplay I think they should go for something similar than the first game (no 3D RPG). Maybe they could change something about the combat, because I think that was the thing that frustrated many players.

But also an adventure from the Inquisito universe sounds like an interesting option (but shouldn't be called Inquisitor 2 then).

I think the main thing they need to do is balance it better, as well as make it a bit more tactically flexible. I think that'd go a long way towards addressing a lot of people's concerns.
I think this game is in a DIRE NEED of a patch in its current state, definitely not a sequel.
There will be no patch, at least not to fix the major bugs. Take a look at the forum on the game's official website.

At this point, let's call for a remake.
I'll definitely instabuy it if it appears on GoG on day 1. Though Inquisitor desperately needs some bug fixes and major interface improvements, the game instead is good and so is the story.

^ This.

I posted the same thing on the Greenlight page for Inquisitor 2.

Basically, if they are talking about developing a sequel and have said that development of the first game has been halted completely due to the developers moving on, why can't they allocate resources for fixing the first and where are resources for developing the second going to come from?

I liked the first one, but in it's current state, it's too buggy. I wouldn't buy a sequel unless I knew that they were going to release it and support it, which can't really be guaranteed at this point given their history with the first. I understand having a buggy release, it happens, but to abandon development and then start talking about a sequel a few months after the release of the first, that's no good.

EDIT:

They responded to my Greenlight post:

"Shinook: We are just trying to gather opinions on some aspects of a possible another game set in the world of Inquisitor. We would like to know if people are interested in such a game and if so, what would they prefer (see the discussions above). We are not working on this game yet, just thinking about it and bringing ideas. Given the fact CINEMAX is a small studio, it's currently not possible for us to prepare a major patch for the first game or start the development of another one. But that could change in the future, of course."

Seems like they are just testing the water, which is reasonable.

I don't think even this being had an official confirmation, after two passing years still not a word on their official site. And hope they would first finish fixing bugs, quests on pre-sequel.

I would love a sequel to INQUISITOR!!
I really hope they get someone who is fluent in both Polish and English to do the translation this time. The translation is what really kept me from getting into it.

Eh, there is no polish version. Right now there is czech and english as the only 2 official versions + spanish fanmade translation.
