yeah I see language and everything now saves but just controller resets but eh no biggie anymore :p now to wait for rebirth 2 and the 3rd game!

how far are you into the game?

I was... Chapter 3 I think, but that was my old, drmed version. Ironically, they save in the same spot so I could continue but 'nah' - started over again. So right now - only chapter 1, IF joins the team. :D

I finished 3 times and my chars at level 250 :D

PPSSHHH 10 hours in and got everyone to 24 so far and dude I love this game so much the music battle, I never had this much fun in an RPG since Xenosaga episodes on the ps2 era <3

Out of interest, do you play it dubbed or with Japanese VA? I don't know personally what to choose -.- English sounds very cool, but sometimes very out of place, and while I enjoy Japanese, I understand only a few words.

Play it in english until you get to Noire, switch to japanese then. When you get new party members switch to english for a short time to understand their battle quotes (make sure noire is not in your party) and then back to japanese.

The VAs are average mostly, Compa's is even better than the original (unless you miss the desu desu desu desu desu); but Noire's english voice is just atrocious.

I see. I don't like to switch VA midgame, so I am going to stay with English probably, as I got used to "Hey, not fair!", "Time for a medicine!" etc. :) What concerns Noire, well, eventually I got used to voice acting in FF X, and I don't think I have ever heard worse VA.

English cause most the voices are pretty decent but Noire is a fucking nightmare I want her dead in this game >:(

To be honest i don't like the english voice. Heard 'em during PiranJade stream and I don't want to hear them again. And especially Noire, thanks to you guys...
Jap. dubbing is usually best in their games, for obvious reasons... and although I never ever 'properly' learn japanese, I can, somehow, understand some of the dialogues. At least to the point where I can spot mistakes in translations. :D

Wow... Gotta ask - do the game 'scale' to your level, or you are so overpowerd to 'storyline' enemies you literally one-hit them?

Nope not scaling but there is too many dungeon plans , for high level dungeons . In those dungeons you can die with one shot . But also there is power up plan for monsters . It works like scaling .

That's good, too. It would be sad if everything went with one-shoting bosses. :D

when you get the time grind your ass off cause some bosses do challenge you later on, and those orange stronger enemies on the map.

I'm currently doing the grind before you fight black heart. At least this game has some other things to grid for with the plan system in place. It's nice to change things up a bit after gathering enough loot. I think it helps keep things fresh for me. I just wish there was some more variety in the quests so far.
