+1 for them to release both HoMM1 and HoMM2 Win95 version onto gog. It would make things alot more convenient. Also, there is some content we are missing I believe.

I have no problems whatsoever using the DOS version of HoMM2 and Dosbox. It runs extremely well, and in fact it would have been very disappointing if there were no DOS version.

The windows 95 version makes multiplayer possible. I say they should atleast leave the DOS version downloadable in the goodies and make the Win95 version the new main download.

Similar to Stronghold HD, with HD and original graphics.
Since I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't experience the brilliance the of HOMM 2 and i'm anti-piracy, I've added an appeal for the Win95 version to the wishlist: please vote

Zacron: The windows 95 version of the game is included, but not automatically installed. IIRC, you can rename the homm2.gog file to *.iso and mount it to a virtual drive and copy the files from there. However there are some compatibility issues, I believe you will also have to copy wing32.dll to a few different spots and all. But I did this and it will run properly on windows 7 64-Bit, which makes me wonder why this is not done to begin with.
hey man, a friend and i are right at the end step and we need to know how to fix this. Its sayign that we have 64 bit pc's and it will not run unless it is 16 bit. how can we fix this????
