i recently got a new laptop and now homm3 isn't working on the new laptop, any ideas? i thought about buying 4 but if 3 won't work I don't know if I want to try. Please help.

Try the HD mod. It solves lots of these type of problems.

If this doesn't work, more info would help. What OS are you using? What do you mean "not working"? Does the game start and crash? Do you get any error messages?

windows 10, i can't download that link it says it has to be installed with the complete homm 3 installation. error message said "Heroes of Might and Magic III has stopped working. a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." and " Heroes of Might and Magic III has stopped working. Hang on while windows reports the problem to microsoft."

Which HoMM3 version do you have then?

Did you try setting the various compatibility settings?

homm 3 complete i bought on the gog site. maybe i need to reinstall the game but i thought it was on the cloud thing

The HD mod definitely works with GOG version.

Try the stand-alone isntaller instead of Galaxy.

Go to your account
https://www.gog.com/account

And install using the installer in "Download Offline Backup Game Installers"

Also, do you have the English version of the game?
