Lovely, the GOG version is broken and the best they can do is blame the users setups... regardless of whether or not it seems that literally everyone on Steam mysteriously doesn't have the issue.

GOG support used to not be this unhelpful.

That began qhen they started working on GOG Galaxy. I get the feeling they spend all their manpower on that useless piece of crap.

I've found that someone also had a crash at a ys game directly at the logo.He suggested that it's a codec problem so probably cccp isn't the best codec for it.Could someone test for me using the shark007.net codec and tell me if the game will still crash at credits logo?

Has anybody had any luck with getting pass this crash? It is happening to me, but it doesn't tell me why, it just says the game stopped responding. It really gets on my nerves because I can't even test out different possible solutions quickly because I have to watch the end cutscenes over every damn time.

Many of us just ended up giving up on this crash.

Don't think ffdshow would make a difference not installing that as it usually caused more trouble then helped. You could also try the steam version if it has the same problem,but don't know if you will get the same problem there or if you even care about steam.
Edit: incase anyone reads this,did anyone try k-lite codecs package or ffdshow?
It only happened in true end that the game crashes.
I tried k-lite and the game still crashes.
Xvid codecs,no codecs at all they all seem to crash at the same spot.

There are no files named 'memgame.txt' and 'staff_24.iti' in '3data' folder.
They depend on the STEAM version but not the GOG version.
Perhaps this is the cause of this ending bug.

It works,thanks for the help,i was able to get through the true ending credits the logo showed up this time and got a new game+ save file now.
So this was all because gog was missing a file,how pathetic.

Maybe I should finally get back to this game, beat it, and then start a New Game + file on Easy to try to max out my masks now that it should (hopefully) be possible.

I got ahold of Mastiff and supposedly an update with the missing files will be issued. I wish they would of done the leg work instead of having to rely on users to investigate the problem. Even having to contact them to let them know of the issue and it's fix is a little disheartening. At the very least the missing files should be issued here by Mastiff soon if what I have been told can be believed.
