Dark themes cause my eyes so much strain, and the Galaxy 2.0 theme is probably the worst I have seen. Please consider people with astigmatism and other visual impairments that make this impossible to use.

My vision is not that bad, but I definitely do not like using dark themes. In this I would rather deal with the gog.com website than the current state of 2.x

We can choose light or dark for the forums so why not for Galaxy. Choice is essential. I have now been forced offline because I can't use the new dark version.

I was getting so frustrated not being able to find how to make it brighter so i turned to the forums and see that i cant.
Also strains my eyes so il just avoid it for now.

I personally prefer a dark mode view, but still think it's a bad idea not to give the option of light. Especially considering the current view (which again, I LIKE) is a very low contrast dark mode, and there are people for whom a higher contrast viewing option is a necessity for any kind of use. Lacking both light AND high contrast options is almost all the mistakes at once.

So, any news on the topic? I do not like dark themes altogether but the Galaxy dark theme is the worst. Pain to my eyes

In another couple of days, I'll have passed 3 weeks without a reply from support to my contact which addresses this problem along with a number of other issues which I see as necessary to resolve before pushing the beta build onto everyone (it's a bit late to not do it, but there's good reason to revert).

I understand that there's a pandemic, but... the launch happened during it. If they were already under orders to shut their support down, they should have considered that and NOT launched the new library.

I prefer dark themes, but this is a pretty bad theme. The old GOG Galaxy had a much better theme...
