so for spme reason when trying to install the gui just says something went wrong and the logs arent immediately helpful either. someone got an idea?

I have the same problem, I'm very suspicious about what's going in on. I think this site is going out of business. I haven't been able to login with the client installed and I get the same error when trying to re install.

I'm getting into Galaxy 1.2.xx without difficulty. Check out the post here about how to revert to the old Galaxy--it's working fine.
