Are you with Kiss Distribution? ;-)

Anyway, cool, hopefully it shows up on GOG (although people might be ungrateful if it's the DOS version instead of Win 95, but perhaps both could be provided).

No I'm not with KISS Distribution.
I was a fan of the band KISS when I created the username back in 1995.
Just thought I'd better clear that up!

I'd be greatfull for a working version on Windows 7 64bit with working cut scenes.
When will Z: Steel Soldiers be released on GOG?

Sadly it's not looking like it, because bloody $13 on Steam.

Either that or it gets a release on one of GOG's usual release days?

Maybe, but we got "Z" on a Friday, right? I suspect GOG and Kiss couldn't reach a price agreement.

Personally I think 9.99 would have been alright, but more than that seems a bit much. I could be wrong, though.
Considering what the reviews on http://www.gog.com/game/z are like, maybe there are even technical reasons... :-/

wow. those reviews are really disappointing, thanks for pointing this out. I assumed the port would be good (I really liked the Chaos Engine port). :(

Since reviews cannot be amended, it's a good idea to take those with a grain of salt, as Kiss has since released a couple of patches that have fixed the control issues and some other stuff that people were complaining about. Take a look below and judge for yourself if the fixes are to your liking (The multiplayer is still missing, though).

Interesting. It seems like gog needs to add an option of allowing people to amend their reviews… thanks for the info!

That's true. http://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/ability_to_editupdatedelete_own_reviews_or_ability_to_report_dated_reviews

I sent a message to Support about it.
