Games like Baldur's gate 2 and Icewind Dale and etc.
By that i mean, be able to download them as .app instead of .exe.
...Or .dmg either way.
Because I know Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale both have been ported over to the Mac OS.

I've read in older, multiple threads that most run on Wine.
Excellent, Thank you, Rohan
Bah the forum is getting hungry again, its just eaten my post.

Have a google for a program called GemRB, its an open source thing that lets you run infinity engine games from their original files (much like scummvm does for the lucasarts adventures). Pretty certain there's a build of GemRB for mac and if not the sourcecode is there

Just keep in mind that most of the games on here will not run on Mac unless you use some sort of Windows emulator. Wine should work as long as you know how it works. I don't know from experience though.
Thanks guys. I've been using WineSkin for awhile now, not wine but uses a wine engine, should work nonetheless.

GOG has said they may be officially compatible eventually.

Actually, they've said "No", "NO", "_N_O_" and "We're not counting that out eventually, but for now - NO" ;P.
