[url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/beyond_good_and_evil]Beyond Good and Evil® is a critically acclaimed third-person action-adventure/stealth game and one of the best games of all time. You really can’t afford to miss the fantastic story of Jade, a freelance reporter, caught up in a shocking conspiracy that goes deeper than she ever believed. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time™ is the fourth, and arguably the best, installment in the unforgettable Prince of Persia series. This time, the Prince must return the Sands of Time to the Hourglass as the whole world around him plunges into chaos. Gravity-defying acrobatics, finger-breaking combos, and time manipulation give you fantastic gameplay possibilities and provide a level of challenge and fulfillment which is so important for action games. Grab Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time now for only $4.99.

Rayman is a guy who does not need any introduction. Or does he? If you have never seen the smiling dude without arms, legs, or neck, even though his hands, feet and head can move (and stay relatively close to each other), you were incredibly unlucky to never play , [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/rayman_2_the_great_escape]Rayman 2: The Great Escape, or Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc on your PC, PS1, PS2, N64, GBC, GBA, NDS, Jaguar, Saturn, Dreamcast. N-Gage, GameCube, or Xbox. We especially recommend the first 2D part, which is bundled with a level editor and Rayman By His Fans - 40 of the best staff-picked levels. The three Rayman games are available on GOG.com for less than 9 bucks, or $2.99 each, only this weekend on GOG.com.

Hey, but that’s not all. You can buy Assassin’s Creed™: Director’s Cut Edition for only $9.99. It’s a game that redefined the action genre with open gameplay, intuitive controls, incredibly fluid combat mechanics, and realistic interactions with the world surrounding you. The game is not only great but also bundled with more than 250 minutes of soundtracks, an official artbook, wallpapers, avatars, design sketches, and more.

Check out the promo page for more great games from Ubisoft that are on sale this weekend.
Ok, I'm in! Haven't played Rayman in ages!
I own everything but Ass Creed, Splinter Cell and Crusaders so I guess I won't be buying anything from GOG this weekend.

I already have what I want from this selection and because yesterday I purchased Amiga Forever - in this particular weekend I'm happy I'll skip promo and don't have to go in the red. No sad face GOG - still have 50 games on my wishlist - you get your share :-P

Seriously? Redefined? Seriously?
If you still do not have BG&E, pick it up right now.

I was wondering, is Crusarders worth it, as in spending time playing it? I have never tried, nor really heard anything about it and the reviews are not that positive.
Nice, I'll just grab Beyond Good and Evil, PoP and Splinter Cell.

Yes. It proved that a game where you only need to push down "forward" for long periods of time and sometimes engage in basically QTE combat can be classified as action.

Well it did sort of introduce the parkour concept into open world games.. I think.
Also, I'm not entirely sure if that was a good thing.
But introducing one gimmick isn't the same as redefining an entire genre.
