[url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/beyond_good_and_evil]Beyond Good and Evil® is a critically acclaimed third-person action-adventure/stealth game and one of the best games of all time. You really can’t afford to miss the fantastic story of Jade, a freelance reporter, caught up in a shocking conspiracy that goes deeper than she ever believed. Enter the futuristic world of Beyond Good and Evil® for only $4.99.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time™ is the fourth, and arguably the best, installment in the unforgettable Prince of Persia series. This time, the Prince must return the Sands of Time to the Hourglass as the whole world around him plunges into chaos. Gravity-defying acrobatics, finger-breaking combos, and time manipulation give you fantastic gameplay possibilities and provide a level of challenge and fulfillment which is so important for action games. Grab Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time now for only $4.99.

Rayman is a guy who does not need any introduction. Or does he? If you have never seen the smiling dude without arms, legs, or neck, even though his hands, feet and head can move (and stay relatively close to each other), you were incredibly unlucky to never play , [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/rayman_2_the_great_escape]Rayman 2: The Great Escape, or Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc on your PC, PS1, PS2, N64, GBC, GBA, NDS, Jaguar, Saturn, Dreamcast. N-Gage, GameCube, or Xbox. We especially recommend the first 2D part, which is bundled with a level editor and Rayman By His Fans - 40 of the best staff-picked levels. The three Rayman games are available on GOG.com for less than 9 bucks, or $2.99 each, only this weekend on GOG.com.

Hey, but that’s not all. You can buy Assassin’s Creed™: Director’s Cut Edition for only $9.99. It’s a game that redefined the action genre with open gameplay, intuitive controls, incredibly fluid combat mechanics, and realistic interactions with the world surrounding you. The game is not only great but also bundled with more than 250 minutes of soundtracks, an official artbook, wallpapers, avatars, design sketches, and more.

Check out the promo page for more great games from Ubisoft that are on sale this weekend.

Tallin: Some things I might pick up... mostly things I have on other systems, though, so we'll see. I gotta say though: "Assassin's Creed Director's Cut Edition"? Really? Please remove "Edition" from the end of the title... it just sounds really unnatural.

Edit: The reason Director's Cut Edition is wrong is because the use of "Cut" in this case means almost the same thing as "Edition". It's redundant to have both. Though the use of "Director's Cut" for this edition is questionable. I mean, a director's cut is a film cut the way the director envisioned it, and I rather doubt that the extra missions were content that was created, but then not included in the console versions of the game, but rather content that was actually created for the PC version after feedback from the console versions. Also, who is the "director" of the video game? I mean, video games don't really have directors in the way films do...

Sorry... end of rant...
Good point, but games usually have one unifying vision, either by "main programmer" (as Brian Fargo or Molyneux), or by people who invested money into development...then again, this position is not called "director," as you pointed out.

Ubisoft themselves came up with the name, so blame them.
What's the point in buying beyond good and evil's old version if there's an HD re-release that came out ?

Unless this re-release or a patch for it or whatever is available on Gog ?

The PC version has always looked as good as the HD version.

They could just name it Assassin's Creed Lead Designer's Cut. Heh heh.
