Tales of Monkey Island, all Sam & Max games, and more from Telltale 80% off.

For the last 8 years the talented people at the Telltale Games studio have been delivering the best point-n-click adventures, featuring many of the all-time favorite characters, to our computers' screens. Their episodic publishing formula allowed a steady flow of development and gave the devs time to carefully and lovingly polish all the fine details of their games. Each episode is a little shiny gem, priceless and unique. But here's a thing about buying jewels: you can usually only afford one at a time. So what if you want to catch up with a whole season of episodes of a Telltale adventure--an equivalent of a box full of jewels? You [url=http://www.gog.com/en/promo/telltale_weekend_promo_9_11_12/]get it 80% off on GOG.com!

The Tales of Monkey Island--starring the world famous hapless pirate, Guybrush Threepwood--offers five chapters of fantastic fun for less than $7!

Back to the Future: The Game offers you a glimpse into the adventures of Marty McFly and Doc Brown, that took place after (or before--time travel is tricky) the movie storyline. Get it for less than $5!

Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures features the very British pair of comedians, that starred in many critically acclaimed movies (well, stop-motion claynimations, actually). The entire season of four episodes can be yours for less than $4!

And last, but not in any way the least: Sam and Max, the freelance sleuth duo consisting of a dog in a trenchcoat and notoriously naked white rabbit, are well known to any adventure fan. Now you can get the entire collection of their adventures--all sixteen episodes produced by Telltale spanning over three seasons: Sam & Max Save the World, Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space, and Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse--for less than $20!

The GOG.com point-n-click all you can eat buffet is now open, so you can finally satisfy your hunger for great Telltale adventures, 80% off! The promo will last until Tuesday, November 13, at 4:59AM GMT.

And in case you missed it, here's what's new... I mean: here's the new episode of our weekly show:
Once GOG decided to sell new games, the -80% was unavoidable, really. Steam uses deep discounts -> games need to be overpriced there -> games need to be overpriced everywhere -> deep discounts on GOG.
That's an amazing deal! I already have all of them, so not going to buy them again. The last one I bought was Sam & Max 3 in an Indie Royale bundle, which turned out a little cheaper than this, but all the rest I bought at higher prices.

I agree, it looks like GOG has finally come around and is doing what the rest of the industry does, but I think it needed more up to date titles to get there, which is why it's only coming around now.

Unless I'm seriously being silly, I see all games being 75% off instead of the advertised 80%.
EDIT:
Ah, unless only the bundle is 80% and the individual games are 75%. That'd make sense.

EDIT2:
It's 80. Wasn't paying attention to the original price vs. what you save.

No, each game is 80% off. Maybe you get the price descriptions on the gamepages wrong, which are not showing the regular price but what you safe.

As example The regular price of Back to the Future would be 25$, you pay 5$ with a safe of 20$.
80% off? On GOG?

Yes... Yes! YES!!!

Ah silly me, you're right.

Trilarion: ...
And yet, more people buy videogames than ever before, even bullheaded pirates in Czech Republic. You know, these discounts may have a very positive effect that you're not seeing. And as Anamon has said, you will always buy product for a price you're willing to pay for it. I for instance just don't have money for videogames now, and 5 bucks is a huge ammount from my budget, let alone full-priced telltale games. If the sale didn't come on GOG, I'd get BTTF on Steam, and now I'm happy that I didn't and that both GOG and Telltale could slightly profit from my purchase. I just can't see what's wrong about that.
Back To The Future for 4.99 USD. People, if you like the movie series, you have to buy this now!

Agreed! It's BTTF 4, as far as I am concerned.
Heh two big promos the same weekend - gog you spoil us ;)

That said "you have all the games from this promo" for them both... ah well Deponia (1&2) and Space Colony HD are calling to me ;)
Where’s link to „This week on GOG”?

koima57: What a deal for Back to the future, though i already have them all from Telltale except wallace & grommit that looks atrocious to me.. Also the lack of French language support.. Still, what a price!!
Wow. Apparently, you're not a Wallace and Gromit fan. It's actually a very good game and it's based on an old stop-motion short series. If you like TellTale's games, I recommend Wallace and Gromit. :D

Yeah, I've only played the first episode so far (it's been released for free as a demo,) and while the game's not really a great example of an adventure game, humor, style, and story are absolutely ... Well, absolutely in the vein of Back to the Future.

But W&G by TTG is not in claymation, it's the same barely textured 3D as their S&M.

Nothing wrong with low prices. I was talking about stable prices, about predicting a good price.

Who says tomorrow ain't another 95% discount. You could have even more games for the money you have. It just makes buying so much more difficult and I personally feel like I take part in a lottery because I just don't know when the next discount will be and how much it will be. I don't like the idea that shopping is like a lottery. Not when the price varies five times.

Basically what I want to say is that the normal price for Telltale games is just silly. Outside of sales they clearly don't want to have too many customers. I feel this is now a good price.
