Capitalism 1&2, Warlords Battlecry 3, Restaurant Empire, and other strategies 60% off

There's plenty of definitions of excitement. You can be excited before a first date. You can be excited at the prospect of buying a new car. You can be excited to meet a friend you haven't seen in a long time. But for the guys at Wall Street, the excitement reaches its peak as they watch the share values rise. Yesterday's market session was reportedly the best one in many years, so the stock brokers had every reason to get emotional. Let's celebrate!

We want to give you a chance to experience that sort of exhilaration for yourself, so we've prepared an Exciting Enlight Promo, featuring the great economical simulations, Capitalism Plus and Capitalism 2. You'll be able to feel that incomparable rush one can get only by watching as a stream of money flows rapidly to your bank account. On top of that, you can try going into the business of gastronomy with Restaurant Empire, a tycoon-type game where you can manage your very own chain of eateries and make big virtual bucks by filling some virtual stomachs. You can get these games, and more, 60% off this weekend. Go to the promo page for a full list of discounted games. The offer lasts until Tuesday, March 19, at 5:59AM GMT.

But that's not all! You can still mix, match and create your very own bundle of 5 games, in our week-long Pick 5 promo and save 80% on your purchase! There's 20 excellent games to choose from, so don't miss out!

As usual, below you'll find a new episode of This Week on GOG, a short video guide to recent events, promos, and other happenings on the site. By the way, if you haven't already, you might want to follow the GOG.com channel on Youtube, so you won't miss our shows, specials, and exclusive trailers.
The guy who had everyone up in arms in the 'pope' thread recommended "Restaurant Empire" to me. Should I hold that against the game? :P

Also I know WB3 looks and plays great but anyone have any opinion on the replayability; WB2's was infinite.
Why aren't the first two Warlords Battlecry included? I would much rather buy the whole series together than just a single game.

Probably because this is a publisher promo and Enlight does not hold the rights to the first two games. Ubisoft does.

I would like the first two as well. The third one I already own it on CD. =(
Ah well, might pick all of them anyway.

the_bard: Nvm. It says to 2.0.1. But this raises another question. Will lab work with the GOG release of 2?
Is it even needed? The website for Capitalism Lab gives the impression 2 isn't a requirement, despite calling it an expansion.

"If you are new to the Capitalism series, you are recommended to get your hands on Capitalism 2 first"
"The following lists show the unique features available in Capitalism 2 and Capitalism Lab respectively. It is advisable to keep both games on your hard disk and select the right game to play depending on the features you are interested in."

Both kind of seem to imply they're considered independant games.

Restaurant Empire is a pretty nice restaurant sim... has a bit of an adventure game feel to it but you're also trying to build a restaurant from the ground up... at least that's from what I remembered, playing it a few years back but now have lost the cd =(

Not sure if it is a standalone or not. Haven't had time to properly research it. Was just under the impression it was an expansion for Cap2. Maybe it will make it here.
Damn got them all - Very good Package GOG

Roll on next week
hmmm i have seven kingdoms 1 and 2 from this pack the others are of no interest to me but I know that a lot of people like these games so its a good weekend for them
Another great promo, as I've come to expect.
The next release really better be Revenant!
I love the hidden jokes at the end of some videos, especially if I can see them from a mile away.

Sounds like a must buy. It's the only one in this pack that I don't have and for barely over two dollars it is kind of a steal.

Revenant. Definitely. So. Awesome.
There's 3 or 4 games I want in this promo...

GOG, you're always so good to me but so hurtful to my wallet. I love you anyway.

JMich: I'm going to guess "Revenant" for next week. I will be surprised if I guess correctly though.
I'm going with Clive Barker's Undying - again!
