65 assorted games 70% off, no risk of getting trampled!

The time has come to unveil our [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/black_friday_weekend_promo_291113]special Black Friday promo First, let's put things in some perspective, though. There are a few great things about the Black Friday retail festivities, and one really, really bad one, that kind of spoils all the joy for many people. On one hand, you can go out there and grab consumer electronics, games, movies, and other tech-goods with insanely attractive discounts, finally getting those things you wanted, but without the guilt of paying too much for stuff that's not essential to your wellbeing. On the other, you risk getting seriously battered-up in the process, as hundreds, or thousands of other people will be trying to do just the same and they won't take competition kindly. Each year people get injured in their pursuit of great deals. Badly injured! Killed even! Even if the media blow the thing way out of proportion, the risk still exists.

Why take any risks? You're entitled to great Black Friday deals without exposing yourself to raging crowds. Take the digital route, this year! We've prepared a huge selection of titles for you, and applied a huge discount to all of them. Games that usually cost $9.99 are now available for only $2.99. Titles with $5.99 regular price tag are up for grabs for only $1.79. That's 70% off discount on a selection of 65 fantastic games. You can greatly expand your DRM-free collection and emerge victorious from this whole Black Friday ordeal, without staring into Death's cold eyes even once. You don't even need to rush in--we give you plenty of time to plan your purchase, so you don't end up with something you bought because it was dirt cheap, not because you really wanted it. That's Black Friday GOG.com customer love style! The offer lasts until Tuesday, December 3, at 10:59AM GMT.
Great promo, but I already have all the games I'd be interested in from it.

Anyone have link to exactly what was on sale last x-mas and at what %?
mondo84 was kind and courageous enough to compile some lists in this thread here, take a look.
Does anyone want to trade Rollercaster 1+2 with my gift copy of Evoland? PM me
Well, I managed to knock a few off the ole wishlist. Thanks for another great promo GOG.
Great promo. I've been pondering buying Chaos Overloads for months. Seems like my type of game but whenever I see vids of it, something puts me off, maybe the implied learning curve. Thoughts anyone?
[PTSD kicks in]

INCOMING!!!
looking at the games again
can someone sell me on why the Capitalism games and Tzar Crown of Burden are good and why I should buy them?:)

Does anyone know how to change the resolution in Powerslide? I change it in the options screen but as soon as I leave that screen it goes back to default which is terrible. I didn't see any mention of this in the PS forum.

and for that matter what's with the sound!? I can't turn down or off the music without getting rid of the SFX. What a bummer. :-(

Ghorpm: Can somebody say something about Capitalism 1 and 2? Is it a simple case "Capitalism 2 has everything bigger and better" or are there some significant differences between those games?
From my limited experience with Capitalism 1, Cap 2 seems to have all of 1 plus more. [easier UI, more data sheets, options]. My only argument for picking up Cap 1 would be to ease yourself into the gameplay type as there aren't many games like it.

I've only played Cap plus but from my understanding they play quite differently. For example. see the Capitalism forum for a bit more info.

Some people seem to not like the gameplay changes in Cap2 other love it. So it's probably all down to the sort of game your prefer.
I've finally decided to just pick up a DRM free copy of Rollercoaster Tycoon 1. I do already have the CD version of the game and its expansions, but it's sure nice to have a downloadable backup copy on hand. No worries of copy protection or scratched CDs with anything from GoG. :-) (Also I had paid less than $2 for it)

Anyone else who already has a CD version of the game, I recommend you do the same and get a downloadable backup copy, especially during this insanely good Black Friday sale.

I did that for all my Commandos games. This was especially nice because 2 and 3 had a lot of CDs and now I can just put them in a vault somewhere and not have to worry about it. NWN 1 too. I went from five disc to one 30 minute download. Very nice.
Cannot understand the mind of anyone who thinks this sale is weak! If I didn't spend so much money on Newegg this week, I'd buy a few more games. Can't wait to get work done on my PC and put time into Tex Murphy again!
