65 assorted games 70% off, no risk of getting trampled!

The time has come to unveil our [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/black_friday_weekend_promo_291113]special Black Friday promo First, let's put things in some perspective, though. There are a few great things about the Black Friday retail festivities, and one really, really bad one, that kind of spoils all the joy for many people. On one hand, you can go out there and grab consumer electronics, games, movies, and other tech-goods with insanely attractive discounts, finally getting those things you wanted, but without the guilt of paying too much for stuff that's not essential to your wellbeing. On the other, you risk getting seriously battered-up in the process, as hundreds, or thousands of other people will be trying to do just the same and they won't take competition kindly. Each year people get injured in their pursuit of great deals. Badly injured! Killed even! Even if the media blow the thing way out of proportion, the risk still exists.

Why take any risks? You're entitled to great Black Friday deals without exposing yourself to raging crowds. Take the digital route, this year! We've prepared a huge selection of titles for you, and applied a huge discount to all of them. Games that usually cost $9.99 are now available for only $2.99. Titles with $5.99 regular price tag are up for grabs for only $1.79. That's 70% off discount on a selection of 65 fantastic games. You can greatly expand your DRM-free collection and emerge victorious from this whole Black Friday ordeal, without staring into Death's cold eyes even once. You don't even need to rush in--we give you plenty of time to plan your purchase, so you don't end up with something you bought because it was dirt cheap, not because you really wanted it. That's Black Friday GOG.com customer love style! The offer lasts until Tuesday, December 3, at 10:59AM GMT.
TZAAAAAAAAAAAR! :-D
all i can say is nice promo

gandalf.nho: Nice promo, have almost all the interesting games, but I guess I will grab the Commandos series for a digital backup
and thinking about the Seven Kingdoms ones.

For non-adventure players, how's Simon the Sorcerer?
First Seven Kingdoms is mandatory.
First Simon the Sorcerer is awesome, but you will tear your hair out at least a couple times. Simon 2 is way easier, and still very good.
Can somebody say something about Capitalism 1 and 2? Is it a simple case "Capitalism 2 has everything bigger and better" or are there some significant differences between those games?
Finally!

Tzar för 1.79!. :D.
Now i can finally stop asking about when it goes on sale :).
after seeing so many more strategy picks then the few on the 'sale' tab,
i was hoping for Stronghold Crusader HD to be in the sale list,

as ive gotten hooked on the first Stronghold game after the keane insomnia sale.

still a good amount of titles i can dabble with while trying to wait out the Stronghold Crusader sale. ^_^
Can't be. ...65 games on sale - but none from my wishlist. Meh...[adding cash to Christmas Sale Fund]

I can say I've sank a good deal of time on the second one, and I found it pretty neat (except for some frustration with factory size issues). Unfortunately, I haven't really played the first one so I can't help you on the comparison.
My name is Pheace, and I approve of this message :)

70%, free choice to pick a title, Black Friday at it's best, kudos ^^

Dzsono: Wow, not one item on my wishlist...

Either sales are getting worse, or, more likely, I've been buying too many games :S
Hah, I feel the same. The only game of any interest in the sale was one I already had :p

Having said that, it's probably the latter. I'm sure I've got a backlog of a year or two worth of games to play through right now anyway (between GOG and Steam), so maybe it's just as well!

Still working my way though & enjoying NWN2 at the moment which I picked up (along with a fair few others!) in the last GOG sale :) (already had it, just not everything from the GOG version - playing the OC again then will do all the expansions too!)

70% off is good, but I got a feeling this sale is still dwarfed by the epic discounts of Insomnia promo (in fact I though Insomnia WAS GOG's take Black Friday and there would be no huge sale today).

I never expected anything big. Black Friday is pretty much an american thing not really 'celebrated' in many places....and since the Xmas sale is coming up in next two weeks...im saving my cash :D
I took a chance on Tzar, hopefully it's fun or at least works. :P

Makes sense. My point is I thought there would be nothing named "black friday sale" at all....

I would guess they had to do something since pretty much all the other digital game stores were.........
