Considering lowyhong's location we should probably play on the US servers. I'll check the pings from Poland to West US. East is fine for us but may be hardcore from Singapore.

When I play alone or with Thiev we pick EU servers, of course, but send me a PM in-game (the command is /tell <nickname> <text>) and we can switch to US.

As for servers, lowyhong probably meant the official "master servers", and you change these in the settings, under "region", I think.
Ahh, so everyone must buy a tag for themselves... I kind of got used to games where clans etc are managed... ;)

So, anyone who wants to, just buy a GOG clan tag for 1500 XP or 40 gold. :)
I'm online pretty much every evening at some point between 8 PM and midnight GMT. Just add my nickname and send me a /tell . Yeah, there's instant messaging in Tribes. ;) Oh, and "player lowyhong could not be found".

Also, I tried playing Juggernaut yesterday and it's my fav class now. Thanks to the low damage and big spread of the Spinfusor MK-D, along with the health regen pack, I move faster than I did with the Brute. :O Geography permitting it's 170+ SANIC on the ground and 200+ bursts in the air. :)

The Mortar allows for delicious harrassment, reliable disc jumps allow for great speed, and throwable Spinfusor discs grant huge dueling potential, and major lulz. :D

lowyhong: I'd been playing as Technician btw. It's a really fun class. There's a great sense of accomplishment in bringing downed defences up, and you don't even need to do anything to get kills if you place your turret right. Gets frustrating though when there are Infiltrators in the gen room and nobody's helping to defend.
The Gen is a tricky place. I don't go down there myself when I play as Heavy on Flag, and I generally see the Gen as far less important than the flag stand. A pair of well-drilled and well-specced Heavies can camp an enemy gen against multiple opponents, effectively drawing them away from doing something more relevant to winning the game, like offense or flag defense.
Generally, I'm all for an indoor brawl, but a Gen is not something that should be defended at any cost.
