Feel free to lambast me with insults and lock/delete the thread if this has already been posted, because surely it has but I can't be arsed to find it. So without further ado... my broken, pitiful list (sorry, I don't play many games so I couldn't make 10)...
1. Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup - I put more hours into this game than any other in my life I'm sure. I finally beat it a couple of months ago with a vampire necromancer, spoiler free.
2. Super Street Fighter IV - Probably my favorite game of alltime, been a Street Fighter junkie since World Warrior.
3. Master of Orion 2 - I can see myself playing this game for years to come... thanks GOG!
4. Skyrim - I'd rank this lower, as honestly there's something that irks me about the gameplay and shallow quests, but there are a few other games that I've yet to really get into that would surely rank higher. I reached level 34 and sorta got bored and haven't touched it in about a week.
5. Darklands - I absolutely love the atmosphere of this game, but goddamn is it slow paced. Annoyingly so. Plus the "random" encounters get more than a little tedious.
6. Ultima VII - I dabbled with this a few years ago, but the damn game wouldn't run right on my computer. Now it seems to run much better, and I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and dive in.
7. Alpha Centauri - Spent about 10 hours yesterday trying it out and I'm very impressed so far, but there's so much to digest! Still need to give it some more time, but I can see it ranking higher if I knew what I was doing.
