So my worst fear has been confirmed: The US Post Office just told me I have to wait up to an additional 42 days before I can submit an insurance claim for that package I sent to Italy because the Italian Postal Service hasn't told them the package has been lost.

Which means I have to figure out a way to get $600 in a week before the buyer of that item files an item not received claim against me. He said he'd do it on the 10th.

Luckily I've been asking for help at a particular forum - basically, a loan that would be repaid, with interest, when I get the insurance money. But I've still got to wait until the loan is finalized...

I'm still waiting on the guy to answer, I'm grateful but I'm having issues with his interest charge. :p

Anyway. I've been trying to list more stuff on eBay to make back some of that money, but IT REFUSES TO LOAD! Or rather, eBay.com loads - include.ebaystatic.com, which serves the CSS and many other elements, does not. So I can't list anything. It's irritating as hell. I've been trying to do this since last night!

I had this same issue a year ago, and it was my ISP's fault. Of course, they blamed ME, but that's their usual MO. God damn national monopolies...

GameRager: No. Some here just wear it as a badge of pride. Because of my past though, Gog has limited how much rep up I can get a day, and lately they've removed some of my rep I got from people here....possibly because they think I got it illegally or something.
I'm probably opening a can of worms here, but why is your rep limited by the moderators? Is it because you've participated in threads that deal with piracy?

I have as well... Is there a conspiracy I should know about?

Oh rly? I'm generally a slow reader regarding everything - game manuals, novels, newspapers, web articles etc.

Don't give up on the game juss b/c you take your own time in doing things. The Baldur's Gate manual is huge, was a challenge to read, but I did it (and still continue to refer to it whenever I pick up n play the game) and am better off for it. And to be honest there's still stuff in it that's confusing to understand, but I manage regardless.

But at the same time, to each his own. If that's how you end up getting the most out of your gaming sessions, then more power to ya.

Gotcha!

I usually only have game loaded at a time on my PC, and thus have plenty of time to read the manual n stuff. I can't play multiple games at a time. I dunno I'm juss not built like that.

It's pissing down with rain here in New Z... I mean, here in Serbia and it sucks! I'm doing an outdoors job and not looking forward to getting out. Bah *grumble grumble*
