So GOG offers the games at half they are on Steam and people STILL bash GOG on their own forums? People here need to whine about how "horrible" GOG is much, much less.

What thread are you reading? Who's bashing GOG here?

I also noticed that they recently re-released the original Tomb Raider games there (before the Legend reboot) for $10 each! Ouch.
So... (1) another distribution service starts selling a game that's (2) already available here
for a (3) higher price. I fail to see the purpose of this thread.
Heh, that hardly is the entire "Legacy of Kain" series....

Not in this thread, but in some others you get people trashing GOG for various petty reasons.
PRetty short exclusivity GOG had on those ones...
I like GoG i find their stuff very almost on the illegal side i know a guy thatw as workin with gog and all they do is download their games from abandonwarez and other rom sites then they compile them into dosbox format and then sell them packed already. when the fact is all you have to do is download dosbox yourself or whatever emulator and read a few guides and get the games free yourself. Not saying to do that but thats pretty much what GoG does they pirate half their old crap and thats legal how?

You might want to lay off the Scotch there. Remember: keyboards and liquor don't mix.
Well, "Legacy of Kain" the series is a misnomer, since it only has one game, the one missing on both sites, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain. These generic 3rd person action romps that got branded with the same name after the incredible Blood Omen are vestigial at best, apocryphal at worst.
Hmmm, weird, the Legacy of Kain games are priced at R$12 (something around U$6) for me, same price as GOG. Same goes for Tomb Raider.

We had a pretty big thread about that, I even found a thread on Steam's forums about how GOG files were found in a steam installer...
