Enebias: Unfortunately not... I might be mistaken (that's likely, actually), but I think there are no Italian games here. It seems Ubisoft employs several Italian workers, but that couldn't qualify the game as Italian, since they are part of international teams.
In my country the interest in videogames is still minimal, and the only relevant developer house is "KUNOS Simulazioni" (no offence meant for all the others, of course).
There are a few developing houses for what concerns the mobile field, but I admit that, as I don't even own one of those devices, I know nothing about them.
I could cite the name of several other developers, but I think they are more fit for this thread! :)

awalterj: No one knows for sure what those wings were for, most popular theories are:

-Increased silhouette = looks more intimidating
-The feathers make a terrifying noise, scaring the enemy
-Supernatural empowerment from the spirits of the birds the feathers belonged to which were all birds of prey: Eagles, hawks, vultures
-The wings made it harder for Tatars to throw their lassos over a Polish hussar and pull him off the horse (would only have been relevant during the period when the Polish were fighting against the Tatars but maybe the wings were later kept for some of the other reasons mentioned)
