I think I found a solution for your problem.

Check your PM.

JudasIscariot: Well, for 7 bucks you can have both as the DLC is only $5 :)

I know I'll sound biased since I work here and all, but $7 for the base game and expansion (yes, it's DLC but to me it's a damn expansion :P ) is a great deal considering that the base game alone goes for $10.

Not trying to make you purchase anything, just trying to give you some perspective on the matter :)
Paying 2.5 times more for a dlc? Are you insane?

Only when you compare it to the sale price. The DLC cost 50% less when the base game is being sold for its normal price. But I definitely see your point, though :D

IAmSinistar: Fifth game - Strike Suit Zero or Puddle? I've ruled out everything else that I either don't own or haven't already put in the cart.

justanoldgamer: I don't have Strike Suit Zero but I do have Puddle and I do not like it much, it's a very casual game better suited for a tablet or smart phone.
Thanks, I rather suspected something like that. It seems an okay physics puzzler, but I have plenty of tablet games in that style. I decided on Strike Suit Zero, in part because of the Homeworld-like soundtrack. Trivial reason perhaps, but I needed a title to fill the hole, and I might actually like it. :)

I appreciate your feedback!

FlamingFirewire: So would you recommend getting Miasmata or Dyad, or would you have another suggestion of a must not miss list (already own Amnesia)?
Depends on your likings. Alan Wake is pretty good action horror. Blackwell games are loveable detective neo-noir games with paranormal element. If you like twisted weirdness, you can enjoy Stacking.

Well I just picked up both SotS and Strike Suit Zero. So now I have even more DLC to buy. GOG's plan becomes all too clear...

Thanks, but the code was redeemed.

Strange, it shows that it was redeemed by myself, but I already owned the game. Have to contact support to sort it out.

Partial redeeming - if that's what you did - doesn't seem to work at all, at least according to tests by Ophelium and me. Nobody knows yet whether this is deliberate or a glitch.

I didn't see your post before, but I hope it's a glitch. Would be the first time that partial redeeming doesn't work and it wouldn't be very nice if GOG didn't tell their users in advance (as there's always a lot of gifting with this kind of promos).

Wouldn't have bought the fifth game otherwise as I already owned everything else from the promo.
Omerta has the DLC bundled in. I totally bought it specifically to support this move.

..which I've just realised was a really pointless stand to make, as apparently other games have DLC now too, and I already own them. I really need t pay more attention during sales. :(

anyway, I own everything in the sale now. Bring on the next one! :D
"_ there are no whore you could control, nor their houses :(
_ the whole town is useless, in the end you mainly see the big icons on roofs
_ there is no real playstyle: all is opportunities and freeing any markets mainly by violence (style is just prefering range or close combat for your toon)
_ however the game is some pleasant: once learnt, you can play it still for long like a robot when you're tired (others could find it boring and so search for maximum violence in the game for tactical fights)"

We can always hope for Whorehouse of Whorrors DLC...

I can understand reasons GOG would disable partial redeeming; but it does not seem reasonable that purchasers would just lose their money if they attempt to redeem a code including a game already owned. That would mean GOG accepted money twice for the same game license.

Wow, 5 yr anniversary already. I remember waiting for the site to open for business and grabbing Fallout 1 & 2 (because the second game was free) like it were several months ago. Where does the time go?

Thanks GOG for a glorious half decade of great games, promos contests and fun. Here's to another 5 at least.
