I ended up saying "what the hell" and decided I wanted to try some of these anyways. I have the following chosen:

Amnesia The Dark Descent (Wanted a DRM-free copy rather than just my Steam copy, but its release sale here on GOG ended sooner than I thought and I missed it)
Waking Mars (Really interested in this gameplay concept)
Driftmoon
Stacking (Tried a demo and it charmed me)

I'm a little undecided on the fifth one, i'm thinking either Strike Suit Zero or Signal Ops, though i'm leaning more towards SSZ as the gameplay of Signal Ops sounds like it would cause me annoyance from what i've read. Also, would anyone recommend Heroes of the Fleet DLC for SSZ? I think the sale for that DLC ends tomorrow which is why I ask. Thanks in advance.

Nirth: now I'm down to Driftmoon vs Miasmata :)

any opinion helps
already had both Alan Wake, Blackwell, Primordia, Torchlight and Waking Mars

so I ended up buying:

- The Cat Lady
- Amnesia
- Penumbra
- Lucius
- Miasmata

yes... I really like horror genre :)
I contacted support about already owning one of the games I bought, so I'll let everyone know how that turns out when I get a response.

The last time with the pick 5 offer, you could only buy this as a gift. Then when redeeming for yourself, the game(s) you already own will not be redeemed. Then the same code can be redeemed by another person who doesn't own the last game. This person only gets the remaining game.
Happy Birthday, GOG, and many more to come still...
very nice promo also -
i would like some help from the GOG community - i'm trying to choose some games from this promo - because i' don't have many of them
for now my choice is something like this
Primordia
Cat Lady
Penumbra
Amnesia
Driftmoon
-------------
i am always eyeing OMERTA - and it seems now the right time to get it - but am repelled by such awful reviews about the game. Would it be a shame to remove something from the list zo make place for Omerta? Any other suggestions what should i take - and instead of what? ...THANK YOU

Some tests with the current promo show that the gift codes are one-use only, so if someone already owns a few of the games, they are also redeemed. Not sure if it's a change to the gift codes in general or specific for this promo, thus the message to support.

It didn't work that way this time. I gifted the order and went to claim it but it gave me all the games, including the one I owned.

JMich: Are the reviews after the latest patch or before it? I last played it a bit after "The Arms Industry" DLC, and while the strategic part wasn't particularly hard, it was still fun. Patch after added quite a few things in the strategic layer, along with rival gangs etc. I'd say it's worth $10, and for $5 it's a very good choice. Not a stellar game, but good mindless fun, should provide you with 5-20 hours of entertainment, depending on how much you want to do per mission.
No idea on what to remove, though I'd say either Penumbra or Amnesia, because they should be easier to find. But all of the games in your list are good games.

Probably something to do with this new version of the store which Doc was talking about?
But it's not just with "free" games, I guess...

sergejGOGaccount: snap
I can vouch for Driftmoon (fairy-tale awesomeness) and The Cat Lady (psycho madness awesomeness)

Torchlight is also great if you're a fan of action rpgs like Diablo
and I also like Alan Wake (even though I only play like one chapter per month :), but when I do, I enjoy it)
You know what, I've changed my mind. I've checked my backloggery page and realized that yesterday (before buying SS2) my progress index for 2013 was 0. I bought 80 new games and finished 80 games. It's a good reason to celebrate, isn't it? With GOG's birthday to boot I should really get something from this promo. Now, let me see... I always wanted to try Omerta so with that price it's a deal. Sword of the Stars: The Pit and Waking Mars seems to be solid enough but I have some problems with the last two games. Could you guys help me? Which games would you recommend from:
- Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers
- Evoland
- Anodyne
- Shattered Haven
I was thinking about Evoland and Shattered Haven but I'm not sure. Other games I don't have are: Strike Suit Zero, Lucius, Dyad, Slender: The Arrival, Signal Ops but I think they are not my cup of tea.

Your opinions will be appreciated!
Signal Ops
Driftmoon
Dyad
Stacking
Penumbra Collection, The

And now my GOG collection is +100 :)
Honestly would have preferrre to pick 2or 3. 5 is a bit too many for me (despite only owning a few games in that bunch)

Thanks, I was about to do the same (although I haven't placed the order yet).
Like the idea but there just isn't enough games to pick from plus anyone interested probably owns some of those already, so that limits the choice even further.
