Just as cogadh mentioned in the previous post, since the relaunch all the login stuff is automatically submitted over a secure connection... I guess it might be confusing that the page previously opened was fetched via http, but the login overlay is now always on https connection, so the security layer is there and it's mandatory now :)

I'm not a dev so I guess I'm not the right person to ask, but the last time I checked HSTS was like supported by Firefox 4 beta only and it was still buggy for people with proxy connections... But don't get my word for that :P. Afaik it's just submitted over https and the downside that's causing the confusion is that lack of padlock icon.

Well, not really. Once you redeem a gift code that contains multiple games, you will automatically claim all the games you don't have yet (okay, it's kind of late here so I can't guarantee but I'm 99% sure there's no way to hand-pick contains of the gift :). However, the remaining games (the ones on a gift code that you already had previously) will be still on that gift code, so you can pass that gift code to a friend and they can redeem the remaining game or games. No idea if that applies to your situation though.

Basically the best way to gift X people is to create X bonus codes (and you can easily convert any multiple game order now to a gift code in the checkout now and still receive a discount if these games are in a promo)

just scouting the forums and preparing another buglist for the devs.. for some unknown reasons I tend to do that in the middle of a night ;) so funny, when I read this post for the first time, I've thought it said "depressed" ;). I guess it's indeed a bit too late for me ;)))
