I'm impressed by the fact that it's 12:42 am Monday morning in Poland and you are working the forums . . . =)

akwater: Quick question, I just picked up the Promo pack as a gift pack is there anyway to give say 2 of the pack to one person and one to another etc etc etc?
Well, not really. Once you redeem a gift code that contains multiple games, you will automatically claim all the games you don't have yet (okay, it's kind of late here so I can't guarantee but I'm 99% sure there's no way to hand-pick contains of the gift :). However, the remaining games (the ones on a gift code that you already had previously) will be still on that gift code, so you can pass that gift code to a friend and they can redeem the remaining game or games. No idea if that applies to your situation though.

Basically the best way to gift X people is to create X bonus codes (and you can easily convert any multiple game order now to a gift code in the checkout now and still receive a discount if these games are in a promo)

akwater: Sorry to get off the topic, just figured I could get a quick answer :) (Oh also what are you doing up soo late?)
just scouting the forums and preparing another buglist for the devs.. for some unknown reasons I tend to do that in the middle of a night ;)

so funny, when I read this post for the first time, I've thought it said "depressed" ;). I guess it's indeed a bit too late for me ;)))

hedwards: Interesting. Is HSTS involved?
EDIT: HTTP Strict Transport Security.

Destro: I'm not a dev so I guess I'm not the right person to ask, but the last time I checked HSTS was like supported by Firefox 4 beta only and it was still buggy for people with proxy connections... But don't get my word for that :P. Afaik it's just submitted over https and the downside that's causing the confusion is that lack of padlock icon.
That's probably a goodly chunk of it.

I'm not really sure how buggy HSTS really is, I do know that Paypal has already signed on and put it in place on their site. While Firefox 4.0 going forward will have it included properly, older versions have it via noscript or an extension, not sure how reliable that is.

Thanks for the fast reply and info, I got one promo code for the pack, so I'll send it around to who ever is needing those game :)

At least next time I'll know to make more codes.

No worries I saw the time and was going wait a min, isn't Poland an hour back... strange what is he awake for.
You can have HTTPS POST actions (or Ajax calls) on a HTTP page. I'm pretty sure that's the only reason you aren't seeing the lock icon.
