I sent you a PM. You can find out for yourself. And yeah, it takes a Direct Input controller at the very least.

Have you played "Richard Burns Rally"? If not, I suggest you find a copy and try it. Take a look here!. Of course, Screamer 4X4 is a different kind of beast... ;-)

yes it is

i have played screamer 4X4 for about 90 minutes now after some fiddeling around with it

its...very intresting the resolution range is amazing for a 14 year old game

but its quite different ot the off road games im used to less flashy
slower and more deliberate and more realistic as well

its not what i am used too games where a hill is just a speed bump not a challenge

Are you finding it dull? I was expecting something closer to1nsane which is an absolute blast, but after setting up the controls in Screamer and crawling up a slippery hill I didn't really come back to it. I'll have to give it another shot.

The one place I know that has it for digital download is gamesplanet.com. Just so ya know, it has Securom. It's supposed to be the best rally sim ever, though.

i am finding it interesting
( 1insane is also on my wishlist because it look sliek the kind of batshit crazy off roading i like ) screamer 4X4 is closer to reality

its much slower more deliberate and real i will probably sinka few hours in it when i got to grips with the controls

the resolution is scary in how high it can go

i wil probably buy the ps2 version of richard burns rally

i am stilla console gamer at heart

It's an awesome game (or at least I considered it awesome when I first played it many years ago). I must admit, though, that the GOG version keeps crashing on me, so be careful with this one. :/

Oh yeah, this one's good. I played the PC version back in the day, pretty awesome stuff. And very nice graphics at the time.

Right on. I'm gonna have to see about that resolution when I install it. :) Only 7 seconds to download, right? :D I have got to finish a few more games before I do that, though, gotta be disciplined. I installed Screamer 2 and then Powerslide and now they're sitting there unfinished cause I realized what I reeeaally wanted to try was Driver: Parallel Lines - and that one I still haven't put down. Finished the main mission, side missions, collected all the trick stars, and I'm still just ripping around NYC in 1978 cause the driving and especially the soundtrack, are so damn great. If you don't mind driving on pavement, that is a fine fine driving game.

1nsane is in my top two games I'm looking forward to on Galaxy multiplayer. Awesome off road game fo' sho'.
^well only 7 seconds for me because i have 10 mb internet
at times its ridicilous how fast it goes

currently screamer is set at 1920 x 1080 on my ultrabook

i have playe driver parallel lines before on the ps2 with that kind of open world games i tend to gravitate towards saints row

buti will make the pluneg for 1insane soon
