You know those times when the LAN is slowing down and Counterstrike or WC3 have been played just a bit to long and everyone likes different cond of games?
It is at that time no one can deside what to play, a few ar browsing the net, one is chatting on msn, half the dudes are out for piza and groups of two-3 people play some obscure multiplayer game.
The time has come to installread more 1nsane and laugh and scream at and with eachother as you ram inte the side of the truck that has half the weels on the edge of steep hill.
1nsane... a must on every LAN.

I got the demo for this game on some random collection of demos years ago. I had never heard anything about it but was blown away. I loved it so much I bought the full version as soon as it hit the shelves. Unfortunately it got lost in the market.
There was nothing else quite like this when it came out. The completely open evironments were a new thing for offroad racing. If factread more one of the modes allows you to just roam free in the enviroments and explore, just like real offroading. There are hidden pathways and canyons that can be discovered.
The single player mode ran a little thin after a while, but multiplayer is spectacular. The demolition mode was a favorite since you get more points for harder hits (and a bonus for the humiliating "ROLLOVER"). Multiplayer demolition with 3-4 or more players was an absolute blast and among the most fun I've had on my PC. Nothing like T-boning your buddy off a huge cliff and racking up the points!
The system requirements are so low that it runs fine on office computers making for a great lunchtime diversion. This game deserved better when it came out.

Since I am from the country this game comes from I knew everything about the game by the time it was released. Everything I heard about it made my mouth water. When I finally bought it my jaws just droped. It was an experience in videogaming I have never seen before. It was pure freedom and fun. I still play it today from my original disc. If you like driving and want to see somethingread more still new from such an elderly game, take this one in your cart!
