Is your body ready to waste away in front of your computer?

Wasteland 2 Digital Deluxe Edition, inXile's epic post-apocalyptic RPG is here! The masterfully crafted continuation to the 1988s original post-apocalyptic RPG, is available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux on GOG.com, for $59.99*.

Wasteland 2 Digital Deluxe Edition, is the direct sequel to 1988’s Wasteland, the first-ever post-apocalyptic computer RPG and the inspiration behind the Fallout series. Until Wasteland, no other cRPG had ever allowed players to control and command individual party members for tactical purposes or given them the chance to make moral choices that would directly affect the world around them. Wasteland was a pioneer in multi-path problem solving, dripping in choice and consequence and eschewing the typical one-key-per-lock puzzle solving methods of its peers, in favor of putting the power into players’ hands to advance based on their own particular play style. Now, the legend is back, resurrected by the power of thousands of gamers' combined will to visit the grim and dangerous, yet strangely mesmerizing future once again. Today, we celebrate nonlinearity, mature storytelling, and other best traditions of computer RPG design. Brian Fargo and his inXile team opens the doors to the post-apocalyptic future: let's challenge its many dangers, together!

On GOG.com Wasteland 2 Digital Deluxe Edition comes complete with a free copy of Wasteland - The Original Classic and inXile's cult fantasy RPG, The Bard's Tale. *$59.99 is the regular price for this title in the US. Other prices will apply in different countries. If you end up paying more than than the US price, we will reimburse the difference from our own pocket, giving it back to you in store credit (this is what we call the "Fair Price Package"). If you only want to dip your feet before taking the plunge, there's a Wasteland 2 Digital Classic Edition available (US price: $39.99), and it can be upgraded to Deluxe Edition later.

yyahoo: I thought you were leaving and never coming back?...

JohnnyDollar: You thought wrong. I never said that. And even if I did, what it's to you?
Edit: I'm not done speaking my mind. If you don't like it, then that's tough shit.
You did. But I looked again and you've edited your post. Now it says "Edit: Nevermind. I'm in a bad mood and don't want to blow it out of proportion." And yet, you still are.

sadthiago: I made another one yesterday. And i will do another one next week if they not respond again.

HypersomniacLive: Do you mean that you submit new support tickets? Or that you reply to the first automated reply you got?
Reopened the one that was made in the last time they replied me.

Good, that's the way to go! :-)
If I use/redeem/trade for Wasteland 2 standard (no soundtrack, no novelas, no wasteland1/bard's tale codes)
and I buy the http://www.gog.com/game/wasteland_2_digital_deluxe_edition_upgrade
do I only get the novelas and The Bard's Tale giftcode?

Would I still be missing the soundtracks and wasteland 1 giftcode, from the classic edition?

inXile says GOG should manually add them upon request. Some people are reporting success, others not.

I said that they lost a paying customer, and they have. I never said anything about "leaving and never coming back".

Get your facts straight. I don't owe you an explanation regardless of what I said, or why I said it. As I said above, if you don't like it, tough shit.

Guys, i got the good news. Firek from gog replied to me and said that the agreement with inxile was to offer for whom bought the upgrade from the standard to deluxe edition another upgrade as courtesy. This upgrade iin question gives the classic stuff that was missing. I already got mine and everything worked smoothly. I Hope that you guys that already bought the upgrade receive that new one as soon as possible, but dont forget to contact gog.
On a side note, I received the answer by doing another contact with gog (after one made more than a week ago), they answered this time in the same day.
Great news. Everyone should give GOG a little pat on the back.

BrotherNone:
Thanks again for the heads up.

Any word for PoE backers? I would like to do the Digital Deluxe edition, but the PoE version on GOG is currently not linked to anything as far as I can tell.
avatar
BrotherNone: If I understand correctly, you should simply contact GOG support and they can fix it for you. No automated solution is possible, though.
Hey BrotherNone,

Does this also apply for copies of Wasteland 2 Standard Edition that were part of the rewards the backers of Obsidian got?

It applies to all standard editions being upgraded to digital deluxe, whether from Torment or Obsidian or WL2, no distinction between those.

Novotnus: ...or GOG has a chance for an exclusive :) I'll buy again, I promise :)
EDIT. But I bought Limbo of the Lost this year, for only 30 PLN (~$10). Fresh, packed and in foil, never used G2 Games release.
Fun fact; I found the retail version being sold for €4. Sure, it's Steam-only and the like, but I have to wonder whether it will be gone by the time I revisit.
