Silly, smart, funny, sharp, crazy--gaming’s first sitcom.

We have launched a new developer today--Telltale Games, the finest purveyor of episodic adventure games--and we’re starting off with three fantastic adventures: Sam & Max Save the World, Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space, and Tales of Monkey Island. All three games are on a huge "Welcome to GOG" sale for Telltale, and will be 60% off until 3 July.

Sam & Max Save the World and Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space, two games that will even make your processor giggle, are available now on GOG.com with a whopping 60% discount. That’s just $11.99 each!

Sam & Max Save the World was the first Telltale Game to feature vigilante private investigators Sam & Max--an anthropomorphic dog in a suit and a "hyperkinetic three-foot rabbity thing" that together form the Freelance Police. Based on Steve Purcell’s comic series, the game follows the wacky duo through 6 episodes/cases involving conspiracy, cyborgs, hypnotism, and Moon-travel. It was the first Telltale Game to be released in monthly episodes, a revival of a classic adventure gaming franchise, and additionally a proof that there’s a demand for classically designed point-and-click adventures. Sam & Max Save the World is available on GOG.com 60% off--that’s only $11.99 for the next 7 days!

Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space is the second season of the series and features another five episodes filled with humor, terror, and craziness, while the wacky duo faces a pagan god, volcanic eruption, vampires, zombies, and Satan himself. The game has more dynamic NPCs, an updated engine, and more mini-games in each of the episodes. Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space is available with for $11.99 until Tuesday, July 3 at 6:59 AM EDT.

Get both Sam & Max games on GOG.com for only $23.99 for the next 7 days!

EDIT: There was a miscommunication here; the games aren't localized beyond English at the moment. Apologies.

GOG.com: We have launched a new developer today--Telltale Games
Is this mean we will get these too ?

Sam & Max The Devil's Playhouse
Jurassic Park
Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People
Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures
Bone
Puzzle Agent 1 & 2 ( as a bundle )
Back to the Future
Hector
The Walking Dead

gibbeynator: Digital copies have a 15 activation limit, and DVDs prior to Tales of Monkey Island have a disc check. Later ones are DRM free, except the Wallace and Gromit ones. This game sold so poorly that they put the game installers on a disc and sold that instead, so that one has the 15 activation limit.
Not over here. I bought ToMM and Back to the Future directly from Telltale. Can't tell you if the downloads are protected because I've never tried them, but both DVDs are completely unprotected and don't require so much as a disc check. The EU versions of Sam and Max 1 and 2 are completely free of protection as well.

Hopefully not.

I'm not sure if Telltale owns the rights to Bone or Wallace and Gromit anymore, and we probably won't see The Walking Dead until after the full game is out. Everything else, I'm sure they can talk the license holders into letting them put the games out on GOG, most of them are pretty cool about stuff like this.

I know that everything that came out after Tales of Monkey Island, including ToMI, was completely DRM free, but all the stuff I have from before it has the disc check, except for Wallace and Gromit.

I own retail boxes of Sam & Max Season 1 and 2 and digital copy of Tales of MI on Steam, so I won't buy them again but it's nice to see Telltale games on GOG.
Oh. Great. I own almost every Telltale season at their website. Goodie. I'm screwed with the bonuses.

At least people from overseas don't have to pay their ludicrous shipping costs to get the extras now. :p
d'oh. a week ago i paid 27.99 euros for this on steam, curse you Gabe! "shakes fist"

DelusionsBeta: I believe this is the first time these games have been released without any DRM. I've got them both, and I thoroughly recommended them.

SimonG: Doesn't Telltale sell them directly from their store DRM free? And don't they send you DRM free discs when you provide the postage fee?
It's possible that the backup discs they send you if you pay for shipping are completely DRM-free, but the digital downloads of Telltale games have online activation and the retail versions have disc checks (both SecuRom, I think).

Oh, right, I keep forgetting that GOG doesn't mean Good Old Games anymore. ;)

Just look at the games sold on the Eidos store that we haven't seen here yet. Like Startopia.

We will get them. Eventually....

Nope, SecuROM I believe. There's definitely online activation on the download versions anyway.
Whether the discs are DRM-free or not depends on which games and how you feel. The first two seasons of Sam & Max have a disc check.

I bitched about that quoting their FAQ to them and they sent me a US retail disc of Wallace and Gromit which only has a disc check.

Yea I agree the normal price is a bit high. I'll probably get one of these now and leave the other 2 for the next sale..
Nice
Got all of these during a Steam sale; staggered my way up through Season 2 Episode 3, by which point I was thoroughly sick of it. Definitely not recommended at a $30 price point.
