Takin' out the trash!

Dustforce, a dynamic and challenging skill-based arcade platformer complete with an excellent MP3 soundtrack, is available 20% off on GOG.com for Windows and Mac OS X. That's $7.99 for the first week.

The world is in dire need of a thorough cleaning. But it takes more than just a man to accomplish this mission. You’ve got to be a real superhero with a broom! As an acrobatic janitor, you are an adept force against dust and disorder. Leap and dash off walls and ceilings, and deftly traverse precarious environments. Cleanse each level swiftly and thoroughly to achieve mastery in this 2D sweep-'em-up platformer.

Dustforce is a game in which you're forced to rely on your reflexes and skill, as you progress through a slew of progressively harder, deviously designed levels. Your character moves at high speeds and has a lot of hard-core platforming trick up theirs janitor work uniform sleeve. It's one of those games where you'll gladly spend some extra time to perfect your approach and make all the right jumps at precise points, to shave off some extra milliseconds off your best time. This sleek-looking title comes with an optional multi-player mode, over 50 stages to explore, and a fantastic soundtrack that can be downloaded separately as a full MP3 album. Highly recommended to all arcade fans!

Get a good grip on your broom and get down to your high-speed acrobatic world maintanence business in Dustforce, for only $7.99 on GOG.com. The 20% off release discount offer lasts until Thursday, November 28, at 10:59AM GMT.

BadDecissions: This looks like something I'd absolutely hate. " It's one of those games where you'll gladly spend some extra time to perfect your approach and make all the right jumps at precise points, to shave off some extra milliseconds off your best time." Ungh, no.
Gah, that's what finally cured me of Angry Birds. I am never again going to play a game that encourages you to repeat yourself over and over and over and over and over again just to squeeze those last few points to get that third star or whatever.
Watching the video, some of the level design and movement of the character reminds me of Sonic.
Awesome! I have this game elsewhere and it's pretty epic. It did come with the wave of ultra hard platformers following Super Meat Boy, but this one actually has a sense of identity. It's that "just one more go!" kind of hard, not the throw my joystick at the wall hard like Super Meat Boy.
